Boarding FAQ

  1. How often does my dog get fed?
    1. Twice a day, unless otherwise necessary.  Once between 7:00-9:00am and again between 3:00-5:00pm.
  2. Do I need to bring my own food/what will my dog be eating?
    1. We feed Taste of the Wild dog food, a high protein, grain-free formula for all life stages we also mix half Taste of the Wild with half Oma's Pride raw meat. If you would like us to feed our own dog food there will be a $5 per day charge. If your dog is on a special diet, has medication or you would like him to continue on his current food this can be arranged with our staff.
  3. Where does my dog sleep?
    1. In a crate inside the boarding/daycare facility.  The facility is heated and air conditioned for the dogs comfort.
  4. Does my dog get walked?
    1. Yes, twice a day, once in the AM and once in the PM.
  5. Does my dog get any one on one attention?
    1. Yes all dogs receive one on one attention.
  6. How often are the kennels cleaned?
    1. Three times a day, once after each feeding.  And after all the dogs are away in crates.
  7. If my dog needs veterinary attention what is your course of action?
    1. In the case of an emergency your dog will be transported to the nearest veterinary clinic.  We have a vet on call at all times.  You will be contacted as soon as possible in case one of these very unlikely incidents occur.
  8. Will my dog be given a bath before I pick him/her up?
    1. For a charge we can bathe your dog before you pick her up, however it is not included in the initial service.  Ask about grooming prices.
  9. Will my dog be brushed?
    1. Basic upkeep of the dog will be maintained at all time.  If this upkeep includes brushing it will be done.  Ask about grooming prices.
  10. Will my dog be with other dogs?
    1. If your dog gets along with other dogs you should ask about our daycare program.  This program allows you four legged friend to be in contact with many of his own kind, in our state of the art daycare facility.
  11. I have two (or more) dogs. Can they stay together in the same kennel?
    1. Yes, there is plenty of room in the kennels for two dogs.  However, they will be sleeping separately.
