Harry Alexander with Condor and Dieter Haupt

Harry Alexander is a USA certified helper who began his training career in 1979. He has trained and trialed in Germany and has competed in Schutzhund on an international level.  His accomplishments include training five dogs to the Schutzhund 3 level, four of them to the FH, and one to FH2, all of the dogs Harry trained himself from puppyhood.

Harry has twice had the honor of represesnting Canada at the World Championships in Germany and Belgium, respectively, and has been the Canadian Atlantic Regional SchH3 Champion twice. He is an active member of several Schutzhund clubs in Canada and the United States, including O.G.Boston. Even with Harry's busy training and competition schedule, he is still a regular here at Olympia, helping aspiring helpers and handlers in their own training journeys.

Currently, Harry is training and competing with Neo von der Bricken, SchH3, FH2 , a five year old GSD who has achieved eight Schutzhund 3 titles and who has competed in three Regional Championships and one Canadian Championship.  As he continues to compete with Neo, Harry is also bringing along a young Rommel son, Gunter von Olympia. We look forward to seeing what Harry and Gunter accomplish as they work together! You can read more about Harry's experiences as an international competitor here: http://www.leerburg.com/alexander.htm
